Colour pencils are a delight to use and brighten up our lives. Like all products however, their manufacture should take place in an environmentally responsible way.

All of Ecopaper wooden pencils are encased in untreated sustainably managed, purposegrown cedar timber. No paint or lacquer has been used on the outer case. Colours are high quality, smooth, and safe (non-toxic). The pencils are easy to sharpen and resist breakage.

Ecopaper was formed in Sydney in the late 1980's to promote the use of recycled paper office products. They were the first company in Australia to market 100% recycled stationery, initially imported from Europe and then manufactured in Australia. Ecopaper aim has always been to promote local acceptance of, a market for, and ultimately manufacture of, recycled and sustainable products in Australia. In recent years their focus has shifted to the writing implements market in Australia.
